These terms are the agreement between you and Anıl Sancar (“Deckly”, “we”, “us”) for use of the Deckly app. By using Deckly you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Deckly takes content you choose — a video, podcast, article, PDF or your own text — and uses AI to distill it into a deck of note cards. Cards are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Deckly is a study and note-taking aid, not a source of truth. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions. Always check the original source.
You need an account (via Sign in with Apple) to distill content. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Deckly.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — see §4.
You keep ownership of the content you submit and of the cards you produce from it. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process that content in order to provide the service (including sending it to our AI provider), and to deliver your cards back to you.
You promise that:
Deckly does not grant you any rights in third-party content, and summarizing a work does not transfer its rights to you. Cards you export carry a Deckly wordmark on the free plan.
You may not:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that put the service or other users at risk.
We try to keep Deckly running, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change or be withdrawn. Some sources cannot be distilled (for example, platforms that do not permit it or that place their audio behind DRM), and distillation depends on third-party services that may fail or change.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deckly is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-generated cards are accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Deckly is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under the consumer law of your country, and nothing here overrides them.
We may update these terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Deckly after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye have jurisdiction — except that, if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the country where you live, and you keep the protection of that country’s mandatory consumer law.
Deckly is distributed through the App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Deckly. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
