Welcome to Lumi: Your Personal Story Companion, developed and published by anlsncr ("App", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users, especially children. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to operate the App:

• Anonymous User ID: When you first open the App, a random, anonymous identifier is automatically generated for your device. This ID is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personal information.
• Credit Balance & Purchase Records: To ensure you do not lose your purchased story credits when you change devices, we store your anonymous User ID and your credit balance on secure cloud servers (Google Firebase).
• Story Content (Transient): The prompts and story content you generate are sent to AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini) solely to create your story. This data is transient and is not stored on our servers. We do not use this content to train AI models.
• Device Information (for Ads): If ads are displayed, our advertising partner Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID) and usage data to serve and measure ads.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) unless you voluntarily contact us via email.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used exclusively to:

• Provide the core functionality of the App (creating and narrating personalized stories).
• Back up and restore your purchased "Story Credits" across devices.
• Verify and process in-app purchases through RevenueCat.
• Display Rewarded Video Ads that allow you to earn free story credits.
• Improve App stability and fix technical bugs using aggregated analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following trusted third-party services. Each has its own Privacy Policy:

• Google Firebase (Anonymous Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics) – Privacy Policy

• OpenAI API (AI Story Text Generation) – Privacy Policy

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Lumi: Your Personal Story Companion is designed for families and is suitable for general audiences. We take children's privacy very seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations (e.g., GDPR-K for EU users).

• We do not knowingly collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from children under the age of 13.
• We do not serve personalized or interest-based advertisements. All ads shown are non-personalized and appropriate for general audiences (Family Safe).
• Ad requests are configured with child-directed settings compliant with Google's Families Policy.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at lumiiapp@outlook.com so we can promptly delete it.

5. Data Retention

Your anonymous User ID and associated credit balance are retained on our secure cloud servers for as long as necessary to provide the App service. Story content sent to AI providers is transient and not retained by us.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the data associated with your anonymous User ID.
• Delete all data associated with your anonymous User ID from our servers.

To exercise these rights, please send an email to lumiiapp@outlook.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days. You can also find your anonymous User ID in the App's settings.

7. Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our cloud databases. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
